The Brain Dynamics Toolbox (bdtoolbox.org) is an open matlab toolbox for simulating dynamical systems in neuroscience and more. The Modeller’s Workshop is an online course for those who wish to use the toolbox to simulate their own dynamical systems. It is a self-paced course with a practical focus on the art of programming differential equations. Students are guided through each step via a series of video lectures. Topics include Ordinary Differential Equations, Partial Differential Equations, Delay Differential Equations, Stochastic Differential Equations, Auxiliary Plot Functions and command-line tools. Example code is provided in all cases. Study time is 8 hours.
