I’m writing you to share an opportunity of a postdoctoral position.
The Marie Curie Chair in Computational Neuroscience at the Institute of Cybernetics, Enterprise and Society (Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria) is inviting applications for a postdoctoral position. This is a 14 month non-tenure-track position. Duties will involve research and supervision activities in the following areas: 1) neuro-AI; 2) determination of new functional biomarkers for Alzheimer's disease (AD) and other cortical dementias; and 3) intelligent decision systems for the diagnosis and prognosis of AD.
 The Marie Curie Chair is seeking outstanding candidates who have received a PhD in Computer Engineering, Electronic and Telecommunications Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Bioengineering, Physics, or a related discipline.

The probable start date will be September 2026
Candidates will be graded on their merits up to a maximum of 10 points (professional experience, very good scientific merits, good knowledge on the position topics and language proficiency, essentially English). Certificates to justify these merits are mandatory. A job interview will be held with the three candidates who are ranked highest.
