Topic: Machine learning and deep learning for detecting manipulated images


One postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Christopher Kanan at the Rochester Institute of Technology, in Rochester, NY (USA). The lab specializes in applying machine learning algorithms to solve problems in computer vision and related fields. The candidate will be responsible for developing new algorithms for the detecting manipulated and tampered images.


Requirements:

Ph.D. in computer science or related field;

A research record  in computer vision and/or machine learning;

Familiarity with deep learning


The position is initially for one year, but is renewable upon strong performance for an additional year.  The salary is significantly above the typical postdoctoral market rate.
